Youth Art Scholarship Fund
The Youth Art Scholarship fund was established in December 2021 in memory of Maureen L. Lynch, Carmel Sunset Rotary Club Member and Paul Harris Fellow. Maureen was an active member, attending meetings, fundraising and enjoying social events until she passed on December 19, 2021. She was an advocate for youth, the arts and embraced the club’s mission of Empowering Youth Through the Arts.
The Carmel Sunset Rotary Club will award an annual scholarship to a student in Monterey County who has shown achievement in the arts and plans to continue the study of art. Student applicants from all Monterey County school districts are eligible to enter. Acceptable art forms include but are not limited to: photography, sculpture, digital media, ceramics, performing arts, literary arts.
